Gorillaz are a virtual band - characters created by Blur/The Good, The Bad And The Queen frontman Damon Albarn and co-creator of the Tank Girl comic book series, Jamie Hewlett. Blending hip-hop, catchy pop hooks and dancefloor-filling beats, Gorillaz have a sound (along with an image) all of their own. ‘D-Sides’ is a collection of B-sides, early demo rarities and remixes. The album includes the War Child contribution ‘Hong Kong’, a demo of ‘Don’t Get Lost In Heaven’ and remixes by the likes of Soulwax, DFA and Hot Chip.
